Case filed against four people for electricity theft

On Friday, the Electricity Corporation launched a campaign to stop power theft in the area. During this, a case was registered against four people on the charges of power theft. According to SDO Shubham Jain, investigation was conducted in Thana Pindra and Vishenpur. In Thana village, Peer Mohammad Qureshi and Javed were found stealing electricity by bypassing the connection. In Pindra, Geeta Devi was running the AC by bypassing it. Whereas, Vishenpur resident Sunil Kumar was running the AC by making a hook. A case was registered against all four on the charges of power theft. Also, the connections of seven defaulters were disconnected.
Two parties clash over road dispute, 9 injured, 6 arrested
In Narainpur village, there was a fierce fight between two parties over a road dispute. Both the parties have filed a case against 16 people of each other in Chaubepur police station regarding the incident. Police arrested six accused and presented them in the court on Friday.
Avnish Pathak Nishu of Narayanpur village was getting a boundary wall constructed on Thursday. It is alleged that in the evening his Pattidar Jaishankar, Sachchidanand, Nityanand, Vivekanand, Shivam Pathak alias Aditya, Dinanath, Akash, Gaurishankar, Amit Pathak and Rahul Pathak came to his house with iron rods, hockey sticks, sticks and bricks and started abusing. All of them demolished the construction work. Along with this, they started beating Avnish and his brothers Ashish Pathak and Raghavendra Pathak.
Avnish’s father Anil Pathak, who came to intervene, was also beaten up. After this, Jyoti Pathak, Vandana Pathak and Poonam Pathak, besides Jitendra Pathak, were beaten up inside the house. On the other hand, Rahul Pathak of the other party alleges that the opponent Avnish Pathak was encroaching on the government interlocking road. When he objected, he started beating him and two rounds of firing were done. Rajnish, Ashish, Raghavendra, Dev Bharat and Anil Pathak were also present from Avnish’s side. Chaubepur police station in-charge Vidya Shankar Shukla said that a case has been registered against 16 people from both the parties. Raghavendra Pathak, Gaurishankar Pathak, Sachchidanand Pathak, Nityanand Pathak, Shivam Pathak, Akash Pathak have been sent to jail.
